Lost at (see) again

Seems I have not posted ,but I assure you I have been painting. Only I feel my recent turnouts have been nothing short of crap!! So....today, I needed to produce for an upcoming auction and I wanted something good or better.. lets say.
I've come to realize that these artistic phases are periodic and frequent. Boredom leads thought --thought leads to experiment-experiment leads to one of two things Great discovery (about one in a million chance) or a feeling of not knowing what to do next....So, thats my plight of the month. What am I gonna do now!!

Amber, the sequence you describe sounds like a recipe to avoid creating boring/predictable artworks or to become the artist of the millennium (one in a million chance, not bad!)… :) I like the carefree attitude of the shopping ladies below… soothes my mind…

BTW Amber, you are brutally honest in this post... you could choose to only show the infallible art maverick that, by all appearances, resides within you... ready to spring into action! :))

I am an honest person and I think artist's should embrace their humanty

Amber, well said... as for me, because I have limited talent I have to embrace "auto dérision"!

Amber, I left the info after your last comment in my blog... Hope you won't mind my saying: "make my day" :)

Just let your work happen Amber...have fun! :-)I've learned not to argue with it and it's for the best. Some of the pieces I thought were *crap* as you say have been the first to sell.
