I think i'm finished ,although i see some things i may fix . i'm really interested in how that cadmium red pops ,almost glows next to certain colors, if they are placed strategically . i'm very excited about futur possibilities

Uncle Terry

This is a picture of my dear uncle Terry. He lost the use of his legs in a tragic accident many years ago
Terry has been very ill for the last three months, battling continuous serious infections
Terry passed away this evening surrounded by his brothers and sisters and the people he loved most
His bravery and fortitude will remain an example for those who knew him
You will be missed uncle Terry

This was my entry for the provincial art fair that took place last weekend I did not win my yearly ribbon (a bit disapppointed)
So after the week show was over,I decided to bring it as replacement to The (my)exposition at the Mosaique Gallery It was sold shortly that night after I dropped it off

Happy happy me I had doubts about my work after the competition I think the reassurance that I'm on the right track is better than money :)

I'm almost satisfied with this piece Just a few white paint knife marks in the right spots and i'm done

The picture I took a few days ago of the flowers Bill gave me has been invading mythoughts

I keep thinking about paitings of flowers and I don't really feel like flower painter,but I find florals without natural color more interesting

Perhaps the intricacy of image lends to eliminate certain things

This will be my next piece gold undertone

Show at the Gallery Mosaique
I am very pleased with the turnout of the opening I'm so happy that people really liked the work People actually came to see (which was my biggest worry)
All my friends came and many art lovers as well I showed eight new paintings --four of them sold this night I could not be more
thrilled The sales need replacements, so I will be working very hard this month =Having another show in June at the Mckenzie Art College
