Full bodied

This is a painting I begun yesterday after my second session with" En che por"
En che por was a big disappointement for me I started applying paint with spatula and everything went wrong
The lighting was bad the colors were off I put it in the corner for now. But within the hour I had begun this.
This painting is of three women tasting wine (photo grace a Sonny photos)
I'm nervous to work over this with spatula for fear the same problems occur
We shall see....

I understand being nervous about going back work after a bad experience! It happens to me too.

But don't worry, it's a new day and your long term skill will overrule a bad day.

I usually learn more from screwing things up than from doing it right all the time. Forge ahead!

Hey Amber I am sure you will find your way to get it right. I know the feeling when things don't go the way we plan but that is how we become even better.

hey amber , not sure if you are a fan of his work, but I'm having a lot of fun here http://www.jacksonpollock.org/

Thanks for the comments everyone I checked out that Pollock site Fun!
I like his work ,but feel sad for him.I think he led a pretty glooomy existence.

do you think his wife had anythign to do with that, or did it start before that. When he dies I don't think it was that gloomy, didn't he have his younger ( much younger )girlfriend with him

I think he was a burden on his wife and she was kind to put up with his childish behavior.Lee Krasner( Mrs Pollock) may have been a better artist if it had not been for him .
Success can lead to an egocentric( existence if one is not careful.

I have a pile of disasters. But if it was easy...anybody could do it! You are doing great, keep going.

I'm on a more active forum now so I'm getting lots of feed back from other artists. I hope all is well for you and your family, I miss you! SQ
