en che por

These three words are slang for En quelque part which means somewhere in french I decided to title my new painting this. People in this area will understand and those who do not will find it interesting I'm sure. Our language( Acadian Slang) is a contraversial( i'm not sure i even spelled this right) issue
Facsinating ,but improper.
The painting is in it's first stage and is 30x30 inches oil on canvas I will post it in sessions done.

This has a very nice feel the way it is. I would love to see this painting when you finish AND would like to see a second version fimished out abstractly.

Yes, Kathy Hooper is a well known artist from the Hampton area, just up the road from me actually.I absolutely love her works. She's one of my favorite artists. She does pottery and painting in a very whimsical style. That's great you'll have her as judge for the competition. She runs Hooper Studios, www.artathooperstudios.com
