This painting titled "Silver lining" just recently finished and sold is 3feet squared, done with spatula.she is drying in my living room waiting her new home and I'm hoping my kids don't get to her first
I don't have a studio space so I leave my things in the living room and sometimes I find my two year old with one of my brushes about to fix one of my works.
There he is with a big smile ready to paint like mommy.I'm careful to not get nevous or upset.I don't want them to see my art as a negative thing.
I feel fortunate to have a career that permits me to stay home with my kids.

When my kids were young they did the same thing. My youngest decided to "help daddy" by coloring in a very detailed pen and ink drawing. Another time a pastel that was not yet framed was left on the hearth of the fireplace and the dog decided to lick it. I guess that was his way of showing approval. I had to laugh about it. It's good that your young one has an artistic interest.

they all have an interest,my eldest is irritated most of the time with my art
I think he thinks I think about it too much
