Painting this morning was fun, but as every painting has problems I have yet to resolve this particular one How do I make this work seem more intense and less romantic ?

I like it but I'm not Pino,....nor do i want to be :)

I chose the flash photo to demonstate the knife strokes (I like to see them)

Mosaique Gallery

This is a photo i took today at the Mosaique I had buisiness to do ,I sold a work titled "Girl Talk" and had to bring more in
I wish I could simplify I can imagine the look,but i just can't get it
the painting below is one painted for a group showing called Shorelines hosted by the Heronbay Gallery(daves link)
I had difficulty finding the right subject ,so needless to say ,I'm happy to have it done.
Back to work I go...my vacation is over now:)))
