I've always been a strong believer in learning and growing My art reflects that I think... I'm always looking for whats coming next and never happy with what I'm doing at the moment.
Things in my life have changed I am calmer , more reflective , more able to enjoy whats happening at the moment.
My alopeicia has progressed and I have taken control of the situation .
I've shaved what was left of my hair. This was difficult at first and sometimes still is. But for the most part I am happy.
Happy in knowing that we can't control events that will come ,only the way we react to them.

I was just checking for the progression of the gigantic commission. With regard to your hair, it is a gutsy move, but it works perfectly for you...I am preparing for my first exhibition and funnily enough I am a little nervous despite the fact that I made a career of organizing events. I look forward to your future art.
You look more beautiful than ever. Anyone can have hair! But you "rock" the look.
Best wishes
Hi ron
Where is your exposition going to be?
Thats very exciting news I'll be checking your site to see what you're up to
I'll post a pic of the finished portrait :)
Amber,
It is held at a cultural center in Montreal (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/2033012). The main theme is 'les regards de femmes' but I have a mish mash of exploratory works (32 paintings in all). Bear in mind I am just a rookie...
My dear friend i think that this hair thing has empowered you in so many ways. As i've told you already you are the one person that i know that can handle this situation and be graceful with it !
You are beautiful, regardless...
Love Marie
Amber, you have such a beautiful face.
Thank you so much Marie and Veronica. That eases my feeling ugly a bit xox
Amber, Sorry to hear you are going through this ! I think counting your blessings is a good thing, as you have so many and it helps to get through those bad things, that come our way.And they always do in some form or another.
I love the painting in the posting below. Your striped, colorful sweater is so cute ! :) xoxo. Take good care Amber !
Being without hair gives us the the opportunity to see just what a powerful beauty you have.
What a beautiful, strong woman you are!
