your portraits are mesmerizing, Amber. You are very talented. The one below, "Knowledge" is a contemporary Mona Lisa. You are fortunate to be doing what you love while your kids are young. I had to wait 50 years before I started to paint.
i understand how lucky I am i know that if i needed to have a full time job i wouldn't be able to do this I feel happy to ba able to stay at home with my kids and make cookies for when they get home from school thanks the visit Maryanne
I'm like Maryanne, it took a lot of years before I could concentrate on painting. It still amazes me how you can handle everything with 4 small, lively children.

I think that is what I'm missing lately....that pit of the stomach quiver or chill or whatever it's called. I've been painting horses on the beach lately. I'm afraid you can see my lack of enthusiasm in them. Also pelicans. I'll show you when I think they are finished. I'm excited for you. Show us when you are finished or in between.
